Hello, I’m following the drain battery since many days and that are the data that I collected : [image: 1789045877906-2026-09-10-15_10_56-s-amp-op-mdd-2026-09.pptx-powerpoint.png] I’m a little bit short in data for GPS Perfoamance + HR because I’m injured so I don’t do activities of more than 50 minutes I don’t know if somebody has also data collection like that. (for information I have a Race Titanium)

@HomeRunner 2 options: Start with exercise (standard way): Choose the sport mode you want to use and then in the pre-start screen scroll to “Navigation”, select it and choose “Routes”. Then pick your planned route to follow. Go back and start exercise Sart with navigation: Open the maps widget. press lower button for options and select “Routes”. Pick your route and select to navigate it. The watch will ask if you only want to navogate or also start an exercise. Choose exercise and proceed with selecting the sport mode.

I’m also on beta (Android), and I can confirm it seems to be solved on my Race 1

I’d just be happy if they could go back to the status prior the update that broke it. Battery life on my Race isn’t an issue at all. Actually it runs so long that I almost forget that it needs to be charged from time to time

@Stefano-M64 Just to clarify, CG2 itself seems to work fine, its just the pop up notification for an upcoming red climb or green descent that are doubled up in the new then old format a few seconds apart.

@VoiGAS thanks!! I’ll look into it. My hope is to get him thinking about training sessions using RPE first, and HR as secondary feedback. So this might be the way I go.

@pvricardo Either the barometer sensor is dirty or the sensor has failed. I had the exact failure with my Race and had the watch replaced on warranty. In case the issue is caused by dirt, you can try soaking the watch in water, then let it dry and check if that has resolved the issue.

Thought I’d add an update as I’ve just received a new sensor & belt from Suunto support who tested the old one & agreed that it was faulty. Also worth mentioning, whilst it was away at support I had to use the watch based optical sensor as I don’t have a back up & it performed surprisingly well

@maszop can you give me some details about your disconnects with Vertical 2 and the new firmware? I will forward them to Suunto.

@winelouk same for me with Suunto Race 1, but with Android app. Already reported in https://forum.suunto.com/post/194359, but maybe worth opening a new thread, so I’m replying here

@herlas no. Injured. Whenever I do ride, the issue still persists. I have a different power meter now (SRAM Rival) and when the Race goes in pause and resumes the connection is gone and never returns. The hacks did not help. Sad story. Bad software. Suunto does not care.
