I can go fishing with my Race, I can do many other silly things - but there is no way to track a Hyrox race properly? Why?

I created a CrossFit sports mode to have a few data fields and lap times, but after the race I noticed that my steps were not counted… This is so bad!!! How can I know upfront which mode stops tracking steps?!?

@Olaf-Gottschalk I guess Multisportmode would be best. But the only watch I know with a dedicated hyrox mode are those from Amazfit

@ChrisA yep I think amazfit buy the licence so they have the only official hyrox profile

            Old: SV, SR
Currently enjoying race 2, wife on SRs

@Josaiplu ah… that makes sense! They also have products with “Hyrox” printed on that (like straps or watchfaces)

              Currently Race I

Hyrox seems to be a licensed trade mark - it is not the same a generic sport like running or swimming.

@Sportsfreund It is not me who does the naming.
And I am sure, if you use “Hirox” in a sports product, the owner of the “Hyrox” trademark will be able to stop this.

@Egika Den kannst dir doch in der App selber so benennen. Oder auch Hyrox. Ich weiß garnicht was das sein soll.

@Sportsfreund sure. I also did not know what that was until I googled it.
Anyway, this advice has been given already (I am not the TO). Pretty much every sport mode can be used and customized.

@Sportsfreund said in 115+ sports mode - but no Hyrox? Why?:

That does not work because this would trigger GPS - not a good idea indoors and the distance would be horribly screwed…

That does not work because in multisport mode, you cannot have the same sports type more than once! Running must be there eight times… also, running would need to be “indoors” with a fixed distance known upfront (1km). I doubt that can be edited like this.

Ok. So. How can I customize a mode that allows:

                              • counting at least steps (but better distance) when running?
                              • disable GPS because it’s indoors.
