Suunto Partner Approval
-
Hello Suunto team and app developers. Two weeks ago I developed an app for strength training workouts/sets/reps tracking. Here is the app info https://forum.suunto.com/post/187690
I applied for Suunto Partners to publish it but there are no response yet. How long the review/approval process is expected to take? Will I get any feedback to correct anything in the application in case if I there were any issues in the application?
I’m very excited to to publish and polish the app for myself and the community. The app would be useful for myself and the community given the upvotes on the “share your projects” post.

@oleksandr Based on my experience, there really is no instant answer when you submit the application (and I was also worried while waiting for the result, asking myself questions like whether it had been submitted successfully, how long it would take to be reviewed, etc.).
I don’t remember the exact timing, but I received an email titled “You’re invited to join Suunto API Zone” within the next 7 days or less.

@AYamshanov Good to hear, because I was getting slightly worried that it was silently rejected and didn’t know what my next course of action should be.

@oleksandr
Also applied more than a week ago. No answer yet.
Was also getting worried that it didn‘t arrive there.
Good you created this post. -
From the Suunto Partner Program site:
The application takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. Once submitted, our team will review your application and respond within two weeks.

I guess they’re really overwhelmed by requests

@isazi the sdk is so easy to work with that I wouldn’t be surprised that this is the case. I’m so happy with the watch itself and the general software experience so this is essentially the last puzzle that allows getting rid of other platforms and consolidating everything sports/longevity related around my suunto
