Training week: Suunto App vs. Suunto 9 Baro
-
Hello all,
It seems like my Suunto 9 Baro uses a different seven day period, to define a training week, than the Suunto App does. The watch uses Monday through Sunday and the Suunto app uses Sunday through Saturday. Is there a way to reconcile this discrepancy?
Thanks in advance.

There’s a lot of chatting about this …

@Matthew-Robertson Yes.
SA: Uses your mobile configuration (in Android English language is assumed as week start on Sunday)
Watch: You can configure on Seetings\General\Time&Date\Start Week onSo you have 2 options: Modify your watch to Sunday or change your phone language to use a ‘culture’ with start week on Monday (like Spanish)

@suzzlo excellent. Thanks for the help!

Strava App must fix it. This is an official app for Suunto watches after all. If there is an option on the watch already, the app must have an option too. All other workarounds like changing the phone language are just silly. Ideally the app setting and the watch setting must be in sync - that’s what I’d expect from a well designed app.
And while we are there let us customize other units like like temperature or vertical speed. Ambit allowed mixed units but modern Suunto watches don’t.

We definitely need a setting in the app to set start of the week. For example I want my phone to be in English, but I have my locale set as Slovenian … the app doesn’t care, it just starts my week on Sunday and I want it to start on Monday. In MC we could set that.
