Modify Ascend/descent values in app

Isn’t possible change de Ascend/descend values in a move from the app?

ascent values is not yet the main strength of SA…
there are some values I would like to cheat with just kidding…
I think crop and merge would be more important.
normally suunto records the alti values correct so “cheating” is not necessary… but I know it is possible in MC

I don’t know why, but in some configurations of exercise, the clock don’t calculate the ascent / descent value and leave it at 0. I don’t want cheat nothing.

what sport mode did you use? could it be that it suppresses ascent? e.g. standup paddling by logic should not count ascents

No, I have configured a specific screen with ascent and descent and on another screen the highest and lowest point.
The weird is that really, it sends a data for the ascent and descent, the problem is that this data is 0.
I have to check the GPS quality settings

that’s iOS, what I saw in here SA for iOS normally is slightly better/stable
no clue, sorry…
maybe someone else knows better

Elevation = 0 is just on SA, or in SA and watch?

0 value is in SA, I don’t know the value in he watch because in the diary not show this information. While I was running the watch not show asc/desc values.

@TitoPaKa you are mixing… Your watch will get data and store it, no matter if you have configured to show it or not.

So, once you finish your workout, you can see some basic data IN THE WATCH. Let’s see how to do it:

From main scree:

1. Up button to exercise
2. Up button to navigation
3. Up button to logbook
4. Middle button to enter in logbook
5. Up/down button till you find workout
6. Middle button to show details
7. Down button till you find ascend/descent

Compare this data with SA data, there are some options:

1. Ascent/descent = 0 in the watch -> problem in the watch
2. Ascent/descent bigger 0 in the watch and 0 in SA -> problem in SA
