@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos There is no cadence on the Suunto log . The Strava one was uploaded from the rowing machine. Notice the difference in distance
-
-
@hel790 If also Strava has a direct sync from concept then I see that the s9 has done a good job for cadence
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Cool. Sorry I neglected that. Indeed the cadence is on point
So, we should only need to ‘calibrate’ the correct distance in, even if manually during the exercise through some option
-
@hel790 Correct , or afterwards. There is though an issue…
You should be able to edit the distance in the suunto app but it wont get synced to partners. This is an open issue on our side for now. Sorry about that.
However in your suunto app , totals etc should be just fine.

@hel790
You could, as a workaround, turn off WiFi and data connection on phone before syncing. Then enable it again after the activity has been modified -
I would also lave to see stronger vibration or vibration strength customization.
-
I’d really like the paired sensor list to actually provide the name of each device for the paired pods. To make sure it is the right pod that is paired.
-
@tkernen yes, this is a must for me and also multiple sensors of same type
-
I want the opportunity to have more than one heart rate belt paired to the clock and see the name of the device paired against the clock.
for example:
I have an OH1 polar and a suunto HR monitor. I use them for different activities. I won’t have to pair them up every time I switch -

@TELE-HO
I’d like these functions
- light button in watch/activity mode (no unlocking)
- lockbutton in watch mode (e. g. 3sec press)
- possibility to adjust altitude during tracking a hike. I could adjust the altitude manually during hiking on my Traverse amber. But not on the baro 9.

fused alti does that for you.
don’t adjust it before you start an activity -
I’d like to see custom sport modes remember the last used configuration (ie WHR, sensors paired, SuuntoPlus choice, etc)!! That would make starting an activity so much quicker
Also there is a lag when selecting an Exercise type before you can scroll down into the options which also slows time to starting an activity -
I’d like to see any one of the outdoor Suunto Plus items proposed in the survey integrated.
-
I’d love to see:
- strava live segments
- custom interval durations (e.g. no 75 second option!)
-new watch faces
-data together with the navi screen. garmin has had this forever now.
-ability to have interval and navi screen on during activity
-enable/disable/change suunto plus mid-workout.
-fix the lag with cycling stop/go/autopause. it’s so slow, it’s unusable.
or whatever the new S10 has in stock… hopefully much thinner with stronger vibration and faster UI.

This has been a long-standing request and especially from cyclists that want multiple speed sensors paired. My T6c could pair two HR belts. I don’t know why multiple pods/HR monitors are not implemented. I read long ago on DCRainmaker a statement that he made saying Suunto was aware of this and had plans. Not sure of that now.

First use of route tracking for a long time and always problems:
-
When crossing paths with close tracks, if wandering the course is reset without warning … If you are not attentive or on another screen you are wrong without realizing it. When will we receive an alert to just report the change from the basic route?
-
in the same way on nearby trails, the track can be reset on the wrong trail then leave and direct us to a track where we have already passed, hence an elongation of the course more or less long according to the route (seen this morning)
I remember having exchanged on this forum and on FB on this subject, several Suunto users had also encountered this concern. This complicates navigation!
Why not create an alert:
a vibration + a message to choose: confirm the voluntary change of track or the desire to stay on the basic route and therefore either turn around or cut to find the right track -

@TELE-HO
I find both alarm and vibration could be more recognizable.
Especially for running in HR Zones. Sometimes it is not noticeable (depending on conditions I’m running).
If vibration motor can not got harder, I would like to adjust a longer vibration time.
Or continuous with small interuptions.
Same for alarm. There should be a continuous sound. Not only once…
I would also like to adjust these settings only for training (sound is always off / training always on). This would be not so hard to do from software point, but I think a big thing for training feeling.
It is not so relaxed, if go on the long run in HR Zone 2 and have to look very often on watch, if you are still in.
I remember 20 years ago, my first HR watch from polar, which had a continuous alarm, if you were out of zone.
The long run is much more deep, if you do not have to look so often on watch.
Please Suunto, this is essential for training. -
@mountainChris totally agree with this what you wrote. I have never missed vibration about autolap because it’s longer than HR zone. And there should be something about audio off for notification and audio on for training
