Future S9 firmware wishlist summary
-
@алексей windows 7 not supported. you can ask Dimitrios how to deal with it.
-
@alexander-kleymenov Какого Димитриоса? Дайте ссылку пожалуйста. Раньше я обновлял часы на windows7
-
@алексей
May be the forum needs special categories for languages (one per language, like Spanish, French or Russian), for those who can’t write in English?
-
@pavel-samokha
Was thinking the same -
@pavel-samokha let’s discuss that in the Forum section.
-
@isazi
you mean a special thread dedicated to discuss what languages should be supported in this forum?
I would suggest we agree on English and (please everyone, don’t get me wrong) the ones who don’t speak, read or write english use any translation tool… rather than the other way around? -
@freeheeler yes I mean that forum topics can be discussed here
-
-
@pavel-samokha Спасибо. Буду пробовать.
-
@litchimonster this would be awesome i would be happy if it was an app feature if it wasn’t possible to display it on the phone
-
-
@g287-sf idk, saw some reviews about the Coros Vertix. I got the feeling of limited functionality. And it is certainly not cheap for limited functionality.
-
@surfboomerang every review always say “super good” or “not good” all test i see show me good point. i’m joking for the moment but i’m sad we can’t lock it and have a bit more personnalisation for a 600$ watch… after for the tool side it’s a good one. Just the altimeter living is life sometimes.
-
@g287-sf
I simply do not like the design very much… it appears to be out of the pen of a nascar designer -
@freeheeler Harsh, man. Also, they use crayons.
-
@fenr1r
apologies -
@g287-sf Well, at least they have a windsurfing integration built-in.
https://www.gps-speedsurfing.com/default.aspx?mnu=item&item=corosSo that would be a pro for me but unfortunately the list of cons is a bit longer.
-
@g287-sf Coros doesn’t do much for me, but I find my Garmin Tactix Delta sexy as hell! Doesn’t stop me cheating on her with the S9B on a regular basis though…
-
@surfboomerang honestly the S9 is a great tool for sure.
-The GPS seems to work good, the GPS battery endurance isn’t bad at all. Maybe it’ll be great to reach the 60h in full gps mode like other brand, it should be the firmware not the battery i think.
-Your display isn’t the one with the best definition but it’s clearly readable especially under sunlight who is great for outdoors use.
-We really miss the ability to change your watchface and it will be great to find a way to add them maybe with a cable and computer, to improve the customisation. I’m sure it’s possible to do maybe with a third application. Suunto should ask developper even from other companies if they can’t do it by themselves.
-
The lock function is just a joke. The old traverse alpha from 2016 can do it…
-
It will be cool to set the sport mode completely directly on the phone, save it and synchronise it. Like this you haven’t to set it manually every time. By this way it will easy to use and increase button life to.
-
Have an hydratation reminder by a notification czn be great because when we work, i’m sure most of us forget it. During activity it can be cool to but not neccessary.
Finally it’s just minor point to improve to make those S9 /S9baro the real Suunto product they should be it. And top product, better than garmin, polar…
Other brand have many usefull thing. We have chose this S9 because it’s real outdoor watch.
It should last bette than other due to the No wear os update, who should kill watch in 2/3 years. -
