Timer during pause

Hi all,
I’m still rather new to the suunto world and I am trying to learn all the possibilities and features available.
I use a suunto 9 to run and swim, no biking.
My question is for my swimming: when I recover from a swimming session I pause the activity recording (by pressing the upper button), and in that occasion the only thing the suunto is capable of showing me is the exercise time. I would like to be able to have a timer, showing me how long my pause is, since it happens quite often I have to wait a few seconds before starting a new swimming session.
I searched inside the menus and could not find this function. Is there any chance I didn’t look well? Can anyone help?

There are some info available (tap screen or press middle button) but not a pause counter. -
You can see afterwards your swimming intervals in suunto app, but there is no info about pause time. I would also like to have pause time logged separately…

I would love to have this.
When I am running series, and I have a 40 seconds recovery in one block, then 30 seconds in the next block. I would love to have a timer when my activity is in pause (or at least to be hable to se the seconds when I switch the pause watch face to the Time face. -
