      Hi all,

is there a way to change the default settings of the Options of a particular Sportmode?

For example in the Running Basic mode, the Options Backlight and Wrist HR always are set to off and on, respectively, when I activate the Running Basic mode even though in the previous activation I changed the Options to on and off, respectively.

      Thank you

@matthias220841 For now, I believe the wrist HR defaults to on, Suunto is aware of this and hopefully it will be changed. You might try a custom sport mode and see if anything sticks.

Thank you for the quick replies!!!

Hopefully it will be fixed in some future firmeware. It’s quite annoying to go the options and modify the settings every time I active a sport mode.

it should be set default with the sport mode. maybe there is a sport mode where you want wrist HR and with another sport mode you don’t want… could be solved like in good old ambit settings: not only display values but also functional settings to be predefined from SA

In my reporting to Suunto I have stated that I think the start menu is getting way too complicated. Whether that is something they will change or not I do not know. Frankly, I just want to start my exercise and scrolling through a lot of options is not the best IMHO. We will see what we can do.

This happened to me too with a custom profile which was fine before the latest firmware update, but failed after the update. All other profiles were fine, but this particular one kept turning on (O)HR sensors every time I selected the profile.

Recreation of the profile solved it for me.

@Brad_Olwin It could definitely be more efficient I think. A quick check sees 12 button presses (from time screen) required to begin a hike and disable wrist HR (assuming it was the last activity used). I was hoping a workaround would be a custom battery mode, but no wrist HR option here. Lets hope we see some improvement here.
