Suunto 7 and GPX

Hi There
i know at this time u can not import gpx files to the suunto app.
i hope! that will change soon. its not okay for an watch at this price pointwhich app u guys use for gpx routing?

@Markus-Sigl View Ranger is good, allows importing of routes and offline map download.

On the basis that there’s got to be someone from Suunto actually monitoring these forums from time to time - does anyone know why route imports was disabled on Suunto 7? The DC Rainmaker review had the option to send route to the Suunto 7 (at least from memory it did). Yet, the watch that was released seems to have quietly dropped this feature.

@Vinay-Menon not working for Suunto, but educated guess: it would have delayed the introduction of the new watch.
DCR mentioned the initial plans to have routing in the app, which did not happen in time due to things we don’t know (resources, technical issues, etc).
If you want to know if it is coming: I would guess it is still on the road map but not sure here of course. -
