suunto app vs Spartan sport modes
-
 Hey guys, Quick question - i have been using the suunto app to log my long distance skateboarding, and its worked perfectly, but i just received my ssshrb and noticed there is no skateboarding activity… is there a way to import it in from the suunto app? Worst case i guess i have to start tagging them as inline skating (ewww)

 @Roox911
 If you mean : import activities from SA to your new watch logbook, it is not possible. Only watch to app.
-
 @Mff73 no, i mean - logging activities on the watch, there is a different list of sports you can use, so if i want to go skateboarding while logging distance, i have to use a different name for it. On the Suunto app, you can physically select skateboarding if you log it via your phone.

 @Roox911
 You are right.
 Skateboarding is there in SA list of sports to record an activity, But not in watch nor in SA sport mode customization.

 so my final solution is i log the activity as “roller skating” on the watch - then modify it once it syncs to SA as skateboarding, and then make notes on Strava (as it syncs to strava before i can update to skateboard) Still a bit of a weird oddity that SA and the Spartan don’t line up with the same sport activity options!

 @Roox911 said in suunto app vs Spartan sport modes: on Strava (as it syncs to strava before i can update to skateboard) you could turn off any data service on the phone before syncing activites
 then correct and re-enable it
