    I have been using the S9 Gen 1 Baro Titanium since 2018, and Suunto’ competitors like Garmin, Samsung, Apple,… are making some important leaps in technology. Hope that Suunto will catch up and innovate to stay ahead, instead of continue expanding the color variety for the Suunto 9 Gen 1. What do you think of the features suggestions below?

          @Kzznv You have a vote up, I will leave it to your decision. If you want I can remove it or if you like I will leave it up.

              To me Suunto watches should be thinner and that’s what I have voted for. Although this should help in WHR reading, in that area there’s still ways to improve.

              So those are my two main areas of improvement.

                @Kzznv Suunto don’t have to change anything in principal design. Ok, concept a new bezel for commercial tone, a new wrist HR sensor with solid results, investigate the potential graphene batteries to provide mV to new generation GPS chipsets dual frequency and invest in software developing more and fast.

                  @Luís-Pinto The OHR on the Suunto 7 is awesome, I think that one will work for just about anyone.

                    @Brad_Olwin yes but this is due to the s7 design: thicker and lighter. S9 is bulky and heavy so it is impossible (at least for me) to get consistent readings. Only when I used the velcro strap I get consistent readings (more or less)

                      @jorgefd78 It is not the bulk, the S5 does no better than my S9 for me, the S7 is completely different hardware.

                        @jorgefd78 s7 70g vs s9 74g (Ti version). Not big difference

                            @Luís-Pinto Agreed. The current design of the S9 is nice. However, there are definitely spaces for improvement for the wrist HR sensor, graphene batteries, GPS, and step counts.

                              @Brad_Olwin if the OHR is working well on the S7, hope that Suunto will upgrade the next gen S9 with this new OHR sensor.
