Garmin bike sensors on Suunto 9

Good day Folks!
I used to be a Garmin user and was using a Garmin bike speed and cadence sensor. Recently, I upgraded my watch to Suunto 9 but I can’t seem to make my Suunto watch detect my Garmin cadence sensor (it only detects the speed sensor when I select “Pair bike POD”).
Am I missing something? Is there a way to make my Suunto 9 watch detect both my Garmin speed and cadence sensor?
