the vibration motor running basically continuously will eat your battery in no-time.

For pacing I use music that I put into playlists according to their BPM. Use some tool for filtering your mp3 collection like this one: https://www.pistonsoft.com/bpm-detector.html

Then you compile your playlist, that can also have increasing and decreasing bpm for some kind of music driven intervall training. Plus you get the extra kick from energizing music 🙂

Another advise is Spotify: it has also compilation sorted for bpm

            Samsung A5 2016 - Android 7.0

@Likarnik ahh sorry, I didn’t get you were talking about step cadence. Of course, autolap is not solution. As it has mention here, music should be best solution (this is the one I use)

Yeah, I’m pretty old school here and don’t spend money for a service.
I rather use my extensive mp3 library (that I also have uploaded to Google Music)

I have used a small clip-on Seiko metronome for this, You can get it from Amazon for around £20. Its possible to set up any tempo, with a variety of tones, rhythms and you have 3 volumes to choose from. Very useful.

Or you can buy a Suunto 7. It has metronome as esternal apk 🙂

Wow, thanks for all your responses, amazing watch, great forum.
I will continue to use runzi - nice and simple, just didn’t want to carry the phone around
However, the clip-on Seiko metronome does look interesting…
