I just changed to a new Android 10 phone. The Wear OS App cannot find my Suunto 7. I have turn off my old phone. It seems like my Suunto 7 is not in pairing mode thus the new phone cannot find it, my question is how to set Suunto 7 to pairing mode without factory reset?

If I do factory reset on my Suunto 7, I will lose all my previous training data on my Suunto 7, will it get synced back?

I can see all my past training data from Suunto App on from my new phone, which I migrated from old phone. I do hope the past training data will be synced back from the Suunto App on my new phone to my Suunto 7 after a factory reset.

I don’t believe you can. Whenever I switch phones I have to factory reset.

But everything in the Suunto App is saved in the app.

Hello, It’s a very old topic but to not create a new one with almost the same content I continue here 🙂

This topic saved me to not doing a Factory Reset 🙂 only when I need to switch to a new phone device. Works like a charm with only one exception that I can’t found a solution:

Wear OS app and SA detect the S7 perfect and without problems, everything have a normal behavior with these exceptions:

Bluetooth on the S7 can’t detect it the internet connection from my mobile: this happen even when the SA is connected to the S7 with the green dot, etc working normally. But on S7 side Connections > Bluetooth > still displaying my mobile as “disconnected”. This causes that the S7 can’t detect the internet connection when it’s available and don’t update the maps for example. All sync activities works perfect (Excersices, Custom Sport Modes, etc).
It’s not a problem for me because I connect using Wi-Fi or Mobile Hotspot each some interval and problem solved, but I ask here just in case that someone have a solution for this.

Previous mobile still displayed as paired device: and can’t remove. It’s logic, I have not unpaired it my previous mobile and can’t unpair it from the S7. Anyone know how to unpair from ADB for example? I research for this info without success 😞

                      Thank you! 🙌
