    @FazerDude Totally in agree with you. I said the same about the time in the exercise, small, it’s mandatory add this field in a screen. With that text size it is useless.
    Regarding the size in the watch faces, it’s difficult see the text of battery or steps with this size font.

    Please, fix it.

      @FazerDude i do the same as you, customize the screen using one of the slots for time. Considering we can do this, is there really any reason to adjust the time slot, as it may throw the other fields out. Personally I think they should completely remove it. If you want it, add it as one of your fields. Would make the most sense.

        I’d love the ability to register a POI directly on the watch based on my current location. It would make it easier for me to remember suitable places to pitch a tent in the forrest.

          if I have not misunderstood what you need, this is already possible from the navigation menu, by pressing the button lower.

          EDIT: NOT TRUE. I thought I was in the 3d dedicated to suunto 9, sorry.

                  Winter has come to my part of the world. The temperature is below freezing and when doing outdoor activities several layers of clothing are needed. So now I really miss the support for external HR sensor! When doing cross country skiing for instance, I now have to choose between wearing the watch over my jacket sleeve and seeing the display bot not measuring HR or under my sleeve and not seeing the display. I understand that using an external HR sensor means more battery consumption, but please Suunto, let that be my choice to make.

                    @aeroild I’m having the exact same issue right now. -6 degrees celsius yesterday when I went running. I had to choose between heart rate or a visible watch screen.

                      @jorgefd78 only thing I want is ability to connect Bluetooth chest strap to the Suunto app on the watch. It’s completely silly that you can’t do that right now.

                          ABC (altimeter/barometer/compass) tiles would be great. The only android wear device I have seen that does that is the Casio.

                            @james-wylie agreed. There is a good barometer tile, often linked by Suunto in their website, but I found all altimeter apps suck quite a lot 🙂

                                  @nshkira yess!! like strava

                                  also being able to resume an activity when having any tech issues. Activities already save in “Diary” automatically. We should be allowed to “Resume Hike” and be allowed to actually use that information so we can finish our activity after a tech issue without having to start a new one. Strava does this amazingly as well. “Diary” information/statistics save, at the moment, is completely useless and needs to be expanded on.
                                  Personal Example of a Technology error that can happen, this issue would have never happened if I was recording with strava

                                      @brad_olwin Really?!?!

                                      Yes, ski resort maps was a feature request. i haven’t seen any advertisements or review videos of suunto ski maps and the ski resorts aren’t open in France so i can’t really check.
                                      On Garmin’st website i’ve seen them at least advertise it.
                                      I have seen “Map Style” --> “Winter” and same in the app.

                                      EDIT: OMG THANK YOU @Brad_Olwin I didn’t zoom in enough to see them! I was going to buy the ski tracks app from google play but this is awesome. I can’t wait to try it.
                                      can’t believe no one has a video testing/using this on youtube

                                      I guess I change my feature request for an offline map to be larger area than 62km.

                                        @eurohiker you are welcome. I think there is a reason for the map tile limit. Likely due to usability and that all heat maps are loaded as well during map sync.

                                        Perhaps another feature you did not know, when you load a route into the watch and the watch is on a charger + has WiFi, outdoor maps will be downloaded for all routes synced to the watch.

                                        And another map feature. If you go into SA while inside with no sport mode activated, you can set another map download area. So if you have a favorite ski area select that. The watch will download all maps for that area as well as the local area where the watch is located.

                                        It is a very well thought out implementation of maps.

                                          I think you don’t even need WiFI (on the Watch), just a Bluetooth connection to your phone that has data access.

                                          I purposely disabled and removed WiFi after the first set-up on my Watch, and I get the route maps downloading when I stick the Watch on charge (plus any updates to the local area and that extra offline area that you mention).

                                          The implementation as you suggest, is really good. If I create a route and sync it with the app, I know that the map is going to be available no matter where I am.
