    A favour to ask of any Suunto baro 9 owners. Can you turn on Backlight Toggle option and see if it actually will function with a two finger tap on the screen. My new 9 Toggle is inoperative and tech support cannot determine the reason. Many thanks

      @grant28 I have been using it this way for a long time already.
      If the watch is in energy saving mode you first need to wake it up with a button press before light can be toggled.
      It works instantly though on an incoming message.

        @grant28 I didn’t even know there was this kind of option for backlight. Live and learn. I did try it and for me double finger tap worked. Also noticed that you have to wake up the watch before the light works.
