@sartoric said in Intensity target - how to turn it on?:

You should check HR zones option in the start screen.

And where exactly is that HR option?
By ā€œstart screenā€ you mean the one just before start registering, when you can press lower button to go to options? I do not see any HR option over there…

But, which watch model do you have?

@kabzior go to the start menu, options, intensity zones, keep going right, press the lower button when asked, select your zone.

Thank you very much Sir, either I am slow or this is like the most embroiled part of user manual šŸ˜‰

              BTW, manual mentions also:

In addition, there is a dedicated display for HR zones in the sport mode default display.
The zone display shows your current HR zone in the middle field, how long you have been in that zone, and how far away you are in beats per minute to the next zones up or down.
The background color of the bar also indicates which HR zone you are training in.

How do I get this screen? Do I need to set it up in SA in my custom sport mode?

@kabzior it’s in the default running mode, and you can add it to customized modes too.

@kabzior I agree that the manual can be terse and features can be difficult to find. However, once you know them I think the UI is brilliant. A lot is packed onto a small screen without wasting space. For example, I know what zones I am supposed to exercise in so I never have a field showing HR, it is simply too easy to see on the zone ring. You can have the zone ring show without a target zone if you wish (this is how I usually use it). When you arrive at the select target screen simply go back without selecting a target.

@Brad_Olwin Yes, I agree with you on that, UI is clean and easy to use, I must admit this is the first time I was not able to find something, now that I already know where is it, it seems logical, but I was mislead by the manual. So my complain here is rather about the manual than the watch itself.
And yes, the ring is super useful, this is how I used it so far, but since I wanted to go deeper into HR zones I wanted to try target zone and dedicated screen, do not know whether I will use it or not, but it is worth to try since it is there šŸ™‚

@kabzior I agree about the manual, I rarely find out how something works from the manual:)
