This is great news!
Suunto devs: just wait till new android versions won’t let you run MC App and iOS users change phone!
Then…we ambit users (which will still be 100% functional) will need to dig the cable!
But that time new suuntos will have structured workouts, pois, bla bla bla and maybe…we upgrade!

I don’t want to say the same thing again and again, the point is that Suunto decided to not respect their customers and clearly it was a DECISION, not something technical which could not be overcome.

While this can be true it can also not be there are also other limitation.

There are no technical/objective limitations that can’t be overcome, only subjective limitations (cost cut, marketing etc), so yes it’s true, I guess I bought a watch from a company that became a bakaliko .

“we have lost data sync for ALL things” - that’s not true, I can sync everything (routes, AGPS, sportmodes) with my Ambits by cable and workouts by bluetooth. Only things lost are mini-apps (I’m not using, and sure there are mostly people like me) and workout planning (Not using, as well).

@pavel-samokha Not sure about that. It is not because you don’t use mini apps that other people don’t use them. Just look at the Suunto app zone (http://www.movescount.com/apps#sorting=5), there are new apps almost every day! The community is very active in this section of movescount.com, there are so much possibilities with those custom apps. It is a very good way to add features to AMBIT/TRAVERSE watches.
