Suunto 5 stuck on down arrow

Good Afternoon

Brand new Suunto stuck on down arrow screen.
The watch never initialized or showed anything else except for the above.
I’ve tried resetting by holding the top 2 buttons, and using suuntolink states that a reset is need before doing a firmware update, but this also fails.

I’ve read that a firmware downgrade might help, can someone please provide the location of older firmware files.
It’s the monza files I think.

I can log a return, but it would a lot cheaper and easier if I can get it working…

Thank you, I’ve tried that, but it’s still not working.
I’m going to try and let the battery run down, if that doesn’t work I will log a return.

@johanv Just to be sure, you’re not connecting it to a Windows 7 pc right?

@surfboomerang. That’s correct, I’ve tried it on a windows 10 and windows 8 machine. Same results. I’m basically having the same problem as this topic.

@johanv hmmm I see. Too bad no resolution is posted (if it has been resolved). Maybe you can contact @Dave-Papadopolis to see if and how he has resolved it?
Otherwise contact Suunto support.
