How to add a map / track to a move in Suunto App?
-
 Hi all,
my wife just asked me an interesting question. Looking for an answer for a while now but nothing’s popping out. Hope you’ll be able to help me out
The question was - how to add a track /map I’ve created in route planner to a move I’ve created in the app. In Movescount there was an option to create a route and then add it like that but I can’t find it here.
 Any ideas? Thanks a milion!
 Kuba

@kuba-sarata Not sure if I understand you correctly, but you can import created routes with a GPX file. And you can also create a new route from a previous activity by saving it as a route.

@surfboomerang thank you for replying What I’ve meant is a situation when: What I’ve meant is a situation when:- I’m adding a move manually to the Suunto App. Just taping add and adding data from memory.
- The move doesn’t have a map / track as it was created manually.
- I’m creating a track in the route planner (in the App)
- I want to add the track to the move I’ve created <-- this step I don’t know how to make.
 Cheers!

@kuba-sarata That is not possible AFAIK. You need to track the activity with a Suunto watch or the app. If you have a fit file you can upload that to the Suunto App using Quantified Self.

as @Brad_Olwin said, the only way now to do what you want, would be to convert your track made in this external route planner into a REAL activity fit file = with time stamps, and all data required by fit structure. This way it could be possible . it won’t be exactly your process : not create a manual activity in SA and add it a track, but import a totally externally activity fit file.

@Brad_Olwin @Mff73 thank you for your feedback. It’s a shame that it’s not possible anymore. Cheers!

I’m also having difficulty with this issue
