Hi all don’t get me wrong but I have to say it im very disappointed with my suunto 9 baro,I absolutely love the watch but the alarm and vibration is very bad especially the vibration am I the only one with this complaint.
I really wish suunto wud correct this and make it a stronger vibration like the Garmin Fenix plus the step count in which I all ready mentioned.

@ianpet About vibrations and sounds there are taste for everything.

The vibration of the 6x doesn’t wake me up and the s9 wakes me up perfectly.

About doing things like Garmin don’t get me wrong, these are Suunto watches. Top quality and tested for your adventures.

I don’t know where this topic is going. I’ll leave open if there is something useful for today. But tomorrow I’ll close it. The alarm is discussed before in the forum.

Personnaly i’m ok with the sound when running but i can’t feel the vibrations. For an alarm clock it’s ok but it think it will be more effective with an irregular vibration like something intermittent (like morse communication)

@ianpet I’m with you. The vibration on my S9B is very weak (and I’ve had several previous S9 watches, all of which have had a weak vibration) - it’s noticeably weaker than the S7, for instance, as well as the Garmin watches I’ve had in the past. I would love an option to increase the intensity.

Well, I have never used any alarms or notifications, but just wanted to say that I had a vibrating storm alarm a few times and I must admit that it scared the crap out of me, because in my opinion the vibration was really very strong.

@kabzior You’re quite right! I had one of those and it’s a repeated vibration pattern, whereas for notifications it’s a very short vibration. Perhaps the strength isn’t the issue but the pattern itself? This is something that Wear OS allows you to alter for the S7, but a similar option on the S9 would be great.
