@oktan I use a small wrist lanyard during windsurfing to secure the watch. Loop the end through one of the holes in the strap. Maybe you can use it for moubtainbiking too.

@oktan I always used something like this and the had watch never fell of. Maybe because my aliexpress strap is more “rigid” and it is well fixed.

I am not very scared of loosing my watch… …never used it in the atlantic as I don’t think my surfing skills are worth tracking 😂
But I use it for MTB at the wrist and always on top, for Ski Touring sometimes on top, depends on the weather and temperature… sometimes it’s hidden in the gloves gaiter/sleeve.
For MTB, I recently did my short lunch trails and managed to catch the same branch of a tree 4 times with the watch. When I came home I still had bark that shaved off the branch sticking to all 3 buttons…
Compared to the A3PS strap attachment I was a bit unsure if S9B is robust enough… but 1.5 years with me proof that it is quite robust 😀

@andré-faria Hi, I use similar of Suunto (see below). But, if one of the 2 of the watch connections to the strape (dont know how its called) will break/get loose - the watch will fall. This is what i want to secur.

@oktan so far using Suunto bike mount and my S9B default strap has worked fine on the mtb rides, it’s the only situation where I use that strap at all 🙂

@oktan I used the Decathlon handle bar holder. I have bought an Amazon strap which seems a bit more rigid than Suunto and use it for the bike. I was not particularly concerned abut this issue (until now). Maybe a small lanyard passed through some of the holes. I will decrease the possibility of losing the watch in a 50% or, if passed by both sides, 100%. But it will also increase the inherent complications for starting an activity.
