Suunto 9 buttons stuck and not responsive

    Hi all,

    I have Suunto 9 non baro (gen 1) and have been using for past 1year with no issues. However, the top and middle buttons are stuck from couple of days ago. Consequently, the watch is not functional. To make the matter worse, the watch face is showing downward arrow with 4 dots and its not changing from this status (I think the top button being stuck must of initiated this reset status)
    Anyone experienced same issue as this? I would like to know whether there are any fixes I can do before sending for repair.

          did you notice stones growing on the watch buttons, too?
          try using a soft descaler e.g. for coffeemakers. make sure it is safe to use with NBR seals.
          maybe this solves your issue?
