      Hello,

      Can someone help me, i try to do a custom trail sport mode. At this point it’s easy.
      A friend of my who is a good trailer told me to set on my watch the “Step per minute” like this i can check it to adapt me.
      So there is where i need your help. I don’t know which settings will match for this.

      If you have the answer i’ll bless you !

        @g287-sf step per minute is just cadence. Carefull though, normally cadence is calculatated just as you state: steps per minute - suunto uses a tad different convention. It only counts the steps on one leg e.g. you need to devide regular cadence by 2 to get suunto cadence and vice versa.

          @g287-sf

          Oui, cadence.

          En général, on parle plus de vitesse verticale.

          Le principal c’est que tu t’y retrouves.

          😉

            @mi_chael j’ai mis cadence mais ça me sort des tours/min on dirait plus un adapté au velo.

            i set cadence but it give me rotation/minute it looks like more for cycling.

              @g287-sf

              Si tu multiplies par 2 ça te donne le nombre de pas.

                @g287-sf yes, this is the revolutions of one foot in a minute. You can calculate cadence as steps per minute (spm) using 2x multiplier (1 rpm = 2 spm).

                      @g287-sf yes, in suunto 9 manual i think. Things like pte, v02max, epoc are explained briefly in the app (the is a blue corner over the values of this type, if you click on it, explanation will appear), but for more carefull explanation you should revert to a preffered seach plattform.

                          @g287-sf Sorry, than I’ve mistaken. But you for sure can check out what symbols you see on your watch during training stand for (e.g. cadence symbol, vertical speed and so on).

                            @дима-мельниченко i think, i don’t explains well what i want to know.
                            It’s for this. Some are very clear but some not if you’re a beginner and it’ll be cool to know exactly what is it and how to understand the data it gives.
