Suunto 5 Brightness

I’ve had my Suunto 5 for several months, and recently the brightness of the backlight suddenly dimmed slightly. Has anybody else experienced this??? I know about the ‘standby’ and ‘toggle/automatic’ settings for the backlight. And I understand there is no setting to adjust the backlight brightness. Notwithstanding, I’m convinced the brightness of the backlight has recently dimmed. Anyone experienced this or have any insights?

@mafxxx Make sure Do Not Disturb mode is off (long press the middle button and turn it off if it’s on).

Are you sure you are comparing the exact same lighting conditions? I’ve had mine for a similar length of time and find that there are conditions where the back light makes hardly any difference and others where it does.
Because of this I wish they would make the heart rate and GPS indicators at the beginning of an exercise bigger and contrast the background more so I can more easily see whether the watch is ready for me to start my exercise. I’d also like a regular (non exercise) watch face with white background and black letters and numbers
I love the watch otherwise.
