I am sure that this has been already covered here, but I must be very bad in searching. Here is the thing. I adjusted altitude let´s say three days ago for a known place. After a couple of days I went for a walk in the mountains and the referenced altitude was pretty bad (150 meters lower for the whole activity, elevation graph was consistent the whole time). Of course, I used auto calibration after finishing and the altitude was absolutely accurate (1 meter difference to the topo map at that point). It was a foggy / rainy day with no wind and part of the track was through forests (very bad GPS signal and hence track at some points). I wondered:

    (1) Once you manually setup altitude, does S9B go back to auto adjust if you do not change that in settings?

    If the answer is yes,

    (2) When does it do it?

    And

    (3) How could the difference be explained? Could GPS bad signal have an impact?

I assume that if the answer in (1) is no, you must remember to revert the settings, as any barometric change will affect the altitude readings.

BTW, I encountered the annoying problem of not being able to adjust altitude during the activity. I guess that this will never be addressed, as it has been long demanded, as I discovered when searching on this topic.
