A full LIGTH theme that can easily switch to the DARK one

Yesterday I played freesbee with my 2 dogs and of course I activated my personalized freesbees exercise which I use to test some of the SUUNTO options … well welll … I do it also with a motor personalized one when I cut my garden grass with my lawn mower
… just to get fully familiar with the watch OK You will tell I’m becoming crazy with this watcth …
… Anyway … here come a rq to my mind
I discovered that if I activate the LIGHT theme … all the screens in the exercices are becoming with a white background … I was wrongly thinking that only the COMPASS will appear like this …
So my remark and suggestion
Why not to have a COMPLETE LIGHT Theme not only for the COMPASS or the exercise but all to each and every screen.
Each time I pass a visit at the opthtalmologist I point her out that when she show me the exact same super small text written on the left in black on white and on the right in white on black … the result is not the same
It is far much easier for me to read the classical black text on white background whereas on the other side the white dilutes into the black background…
It is true that this LIGTH on each exercise screen is finally a good one, for sure it give less a feeling of a “beign on the dark side of the force” and also hide less the fact that the real screen does not take all the space, but the ease to read is here.
So what about A full LIGHT theme absolutely and coherently everywhere
and a very easy was to switch from LIGTH to DARK with an immediate effect not only to COMPASS but everywhere on each screens -

Well you want me to betray abandon my beautiful and lovely S9Baro friend and to go for a wedding with a PEAK Well well well … whith this LIGTH theme could not be in the next release of the S9BARO ? I will most surely love it a lot and hence keep my romance with my current lovely partner

@pierre-yves-colle Ambit series (at least the 3) had this function as simply as pressing left down button for 2 seconds and the whole thing changed from dark to light mode and viceversa.
I used to have always black mode but some people likes it light, so this is one more little customisable thing that should be kept in our watches. Just available for when you need it.I’m wondering also why this thing just disappeared from its features.

@rhustox I believe the technology behind the screens of Ambit and S series is very different. Thus the changes.

@isazi Yes ok, I get it otherwise would be silly to think Suunto has forgotten to add this option, but wouldn’t be possible somehow?
For me it is not a need, but for some people will make a difference. My dad is one of them, he still uses an A3V same as my old one and he is always in light mode because he finds it easier to see the info rather than the dark mode. -

Lookign to my 9 BARO … SUUNTO was perfectly able to put this light mode on all the exercises screen … so how could it be that here it is doable (there are all option of very small, small, medium, large very large fonts, as well as drawing) and it cannot be spread the same on absolutely all the screens . for me it is not a matter of technology but may be an option which dissapear if was here before … or a choice ??? -
@pierre-yves-colle the reason might be that it was one of s9p features and it might just stay reserved to it to stand out a little bit more from s9.

@pierre-yves-colle I did never say it is not doable, just that it’s a different technology from the Ambit.

@pierre-yves-colle As @isazi stated, I believe there were technical reasons with the S9b that white watch faces were not implemented, I seem to remember that discussion. Given that the firmware for the S9P and S9b are very similar and almost all the enhancements that came to the S9P are on the baro, I think simply reserving this for the Peak is unlikely. However, the newest watch face is atm is reserved for the Peak.

Matrix (2 color) screens have a pin for inverting the pixel colors.
So where is black becomes white etc.
For the S series we have a colorfull screen. Even for the watchfaces we need to adopt colors to look fine one white and please the user.
Its not a simple task todo so.

For sure … one day … I will by a new SUUNTO
but it is not for tomorrow …I love too much my 9 BARO … and even if I’m a very demanding guy … I’m really hyper happy with it …
In fact what I will wait is when the screen will have this 30% size bigger and use completely the surface of the glass … as it is not for tomorrow … it is going as per my plan … becoming older I will need bigger screen … waiting that time I can save my money for this purchase
What is sure …
If you keep this direction in the very very wise way you have organized the dynamic of your screen then I will never betray SUUNTO to go to another garmin or coros or casio
Your logic of sceen navigation is nearby awesome …
just if you could have given us some more flexibility in choosing the order
and a little bit more screen when goign to the right (button 2 middle) from default … -

Honestly … what I appreciate since I’m posting here
it the open mind in which all of you are …It make me even more loving my watch to know that may be one day something that could have been something that I was wishing to have will be present in an upgrade.
I will give all my time to give you or clarify my inputs so you can valuate them and see if they make sense or you can think from them but even better … I’m most probably much more limited that what you could do … but I work like that … I suggest ony what I see should be doable because somehow it is not breaking your logic or you already have done something similar elsewhere
