    Hi all,
Getting the same issue over and over, wonder if anyone else has or has any advice.
I am trying to update my watch software from v2.13.18 to v2.16.28. I connect to Suuntolink and start the update. After about 2 minutes Suuntolink displays “Watch update interrupted. Please re-connect your watch”. The watch looks like it’s still updating - download arrow on screen and the progress dots flashing.
I’ve tried leaving it for ages, but nothing. I have to reset the watch to do anything more with it. Starting the process again produces the same results.
I am using a virtual Windows 10 machine on a linux laptop. This worked fine when updating my old Suunto Spartan, but not anymore with the Five.
    Thanks for any help,
    Matt

@matt216 I do not have a S5, but I believe the issue is similar to the S9. The watch will appear to the OS as two different devices (probably in your case S5 and Monza). They both need to be in the whitelist and automatic connection between host and guest OS in Virtualbox, so that you do not get the disconnected watch. It works for me.
To achieve this you need to be very attentive at least once, checking the tickbox with the USB devices all the time and reconnect the watch fast (because the Monza one will be visible only during the middle phase of the update), in that time you can add the device to the whitelist.

      Hope this helps

@matt216 I had the same issue and finally managed to update my S5, by finding the correct setting in Virt Manager. Which virtualization software are you using?
