My Suunto 7 GPS not work without my phone is this normal?

@manon-rasigni as long as you have set location to on, on the watch, then it should work without your phone (assume you are referring to getting GPS without the phone).
Will say that sometimes it may take a while to get a GPS fix, and to sink all the data. My suggestion would be to sync your watch with your phone, then disconnect the watch, then go outside and wait for GPS connection. Preferably make sure that you are outside with a clear view of the sky (inside, right next to tall buildings/trees or under them then GPS may not get a fix- your phone isn’t either, but due to having wifi and mobile network connections its able to determine a position based on them without GPS working).
