Suunto 7 in 2021! Is it a good buy?

@optics-field-test Hello!, it’s difficult to give support about ADB, but you need to add the correct path to your .apk file. It’s not complicated. If you like the easy way for the barometer you can use this directly from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tugberkakdogan.weartools
PS- Correct path and filename

@flypg thanks mate for the tip about Baro trend
With Alti/Baro I literally dropped the APK file inside the and folder and then followed the instruction
Not sure where it’s going wrong?

@optics-field-test You’re welcome!
Sorry that I can’t help you from here with ADB.
When you have your S7 connected and execute the:adb devices
You could see your S7 listed?
It’s a simple process, but if don’t understand at all what you do it, better not do it.
And, know that installing apps with adb command it’s not always safe for your device. -
@optics-field-test Do you have an Android phone? There is a nice android app for side loading apps on a Wear OS watch.
-
@aeroild I have an iPhone but also have accessibility to an android phone. Please let me know how I would load the app to my watch using the android phone? Thanks
-
@optics-field-test Try Wear Installer. I used it to install the Alti-barometer app on my Suunto 7.
-
@aeroild thanks will give it a ago. I am assuming my watch also needs to be connected to the same android phone?
Thanks -
@optics-field-test You need the app on both phone and watch and on the watch you need to be in the developer mode with ADB debugging enabled. I think the phone and watch connect via wifi. I don’t think the watch needs to be connected to the phone via the Wear OS app. Anyway, let’s hope it doesn’t need to.
