      @dmytro
Maybe, I don’t remember, but the question was more about “how many activities” and that’s not easy to estimate.
If you just record indoor activities (so no GPS) maybe a veeery lot 😁

@sartoric well, it’s better than nothing XD
I think knowing this for outdoor activities is more crucial anyway, if sb is doing multiday hiking without a phone for example.

@dmytro exactly, this is my scenario. Working out and running outdoors daily but do not want to have to fiddle with an app.

Why do you want to do this? The app seamlessly syncs without having to do anything. Frankly, for the possibility of data loss I much prefer to have multiple backups. Plus, you will have no routes or POIs to load or save.

@brad_olwin well you make a good point. I’ll look into it. I was really just hoping to get the technical, literal answer for how much data the watch stores. I’ll reach out to Suunto chat and see if they know 😁

They will say the same thing that is here. The density of GPS points and the density of R-R data, the latter used for HR will change storage. If you are doing a harder effort the HR data will take up more space, so there is no easy or exact answers. I would estimate 40-50h of recording on best GPS.

@brad_olwin 40-50hr then it starts to rewrite earlier data? Or then I would need to manually erase? Or just reset the watch?

@chris-white it will overwrite the data. And you will not know when

@brad_olwin you are correct based on help I received today, the suunto promise is that it will hold 40-50hrs worth of fitness stuff, about as long as the battery. But the app holds infinite data

@chris-white My S9p has about 150 h of training data with best GPS in memory before it begins to rewrite. It is enough for 11-12 weeks with about 13h on average. But maybe it depends on how much other data like routes or Poi are stored, of which I only have a handful.

sorry for my english but i used the translator …
I refer to this discussion for a question:
I checked in the register of my S9B and adding the hours of the activities present gives me a total of 201h26 '(gps best + heart rate + laps at 1km); next week I will have to do the TOR, do you think I will be able to record the maximum time of 150h in a single activity or risk of losing data, has anyone already tried?
                              Thanks for the replies

@gambacorta this topic is about the S9P, but anyway. Also we can discuss in Italian if you prefer.

Are you sure all the activities you checked in the logbook are with all details? The watch reclaims memory from past stored activities and it only leaves a summary on the watch. I do not know how much the S9B can store in performance mode.

How do you plan to record the TOR? Single activity and recharging your watch every now and then? Because if you split it into multiple activities and sync with the app before starting the new activity, all will be fine.
