Speed sensor shows no data

Well, according to watch (if I can trust it …Ambit 3 peak) my separate garmin2 speed sensor as well cadence sensor is connected to the watch, (speed as pod 1, cadence as pod 2), however I don’t see that speed measuring is really coming from speed senors, but from gps…once I play with gps settings (gps accurency ) I speed is more accurate…well which proofs it does not coming from sensor…or do I do something wrong!?
