I had a slightly presentation of what I suspect is the same issue. my watch froze on the media controls screen when in an activity with suunto plus feature climb turned on. the hr monitor was still on so I thought it hadn’t fully crashed. I went to reset the watch by holding upper right button but instead it paused the activity and I was able to repress same button and from then on the watch was fine in the activity all data still there and no issues.

      Hi all,
same happened to me today. During swim session. I had my structured swim workout loaded as SuuntoPlus Guide via TrainingPeaks. Each and every interval was marked as “Press button to continue”. When I was changing from second to third interval, my screen went black and did not recover. However, I knew that activity is still being recorded, so I continued and finished swimming as planned. When I pressed the pause and finish buttons, suddenly, screen came back and I could see summary of my finished workout. When watch returned to normal watch mode I realized that it goes repeatedly to blank screen after few minutes (one or two) and the only way how to wake the screen up is to press any button.
To make long story short. I sent the logs via Suuntolink to Suunto already. @isazi, here is the ID: 225830606300. Logs were sent today at 17:20 CET (cca). So, if you are so kind and create/update ticket for this issue.

      Thanks!

@zadow I will. Are you sure you were not using a custom battery mode that turns off the screen?

I also need the firmware version used.

@isazi I am sure, I am using this sport mode for some time now and have my swim session every other day. I have never experienced this before. Today was the first time.

@zadow should be fixed in next update from what I read, but of course I cannot guarantee you that.
