      I’m done with Suunto and the Suunto App - I’ve endured using it for almost a year and can’t deal with it. I miss Movescount! It was a clean, simple user interface and web based. Furthermore, Suunto makes it difficult to batch export from the app. I not going to manually export single .fit files 300 times. I need to export as one batch. Help anyone?
      Thanks in advance

        @vagabondelvis , sync services like RunGap / SyncMyTracks / FitnessSyncer?

        300 is relatively small number, if you google for “sports-tracker batch export”, you should find plenty of browser-based automatons for this. Just a random example - https://gist.github.com/Bilan/33770ecb8160ee1a79864bd3d37c0f03 (replace exportGpx with exportFit for FIT-files and you do need to get curl or change the output so you could feed the url list to your favorite downloader; and just in case you might want to check if those files still are the same as you would get from Suunto App)

        And lazy approach would be to request a data export from support (this GDPR-thing is there for a reason)

        BTW, this makes a good example why in most cases it makes sense to sync your data to 3rd party service(s) - even if you don’t want to use Runalyze or Strava or FinalSurge or intervals.icu or whatever as your main training diary, some of those (like TrainingPeaks) provide a decent batch export of original files.

          @margusl Ok thanks! I’ll look into this info you sent. So to clarify: How do I get the Suunto App to connect to other sync services - I assume they see all those files in Suunto and batch? I’ll let you know if any of this works.

            @vagabondelvis For a follow-up on this:
            FYI - I used Rungap to export all files from the Suunto App PLUS it grabbed all of my Movescount files - all in one batch. Much more simple than Suunto’s own export and everything is easily imported into Garmin and many other platforms! I highly recommend this app.
