Suunto 9 media control problem

I have a problem with media control. I can change songs always but volume control doesn’t respond for some reason. It’s only working when I launch Suunto app and s9 is synchronizing with my OnePlus 9 - Android 12. Bluetooth headphones -phonespeakers no difference. High performance mode, all possible permits, Suunto app working in the background - volume control not responding, when it’s on top there is no problem even if with screen lock on. Audio apps - Aimp/youtube. How can i solve this problem?

@Alucard I have experienced the exact same behavior on my Oneplus 8t. Volume control worked well on Android 11, but since android 12 and now 13 volume control from the watch is no longer working. Other media controls(play/pause, next etc) is working fine.
Is volume control a general problem for more android users or related to only oneplus phones for some reason?

@Alucard This may not apply but on iOS the music controls will not work unless enabled in an exercise even though the controls appear on the watch face.

Thanks for this. I was scratching my head trying to figure out why I couldn’t control my media with Suunto Vertical and Iphone. The trick was to enable media controls in (I selected run and did a short exercise that I deleted after) activity. After this it works like it should in watch mode.
