    Guys

    Can someone please explain If the AVHR shown on the Suunto app is a base line of the day or measured as you step out of bed??

      this is the average HR between the step into until the step out of your bed 🙂

        @freeheeler ok so it’s measured during the day and will change throughout. 😂 we can call this this then a resting average HR? Perhaps I will start an exercise whilst still in bed and see what resting HR I get.

          no 😁
          the screen you shared with us is for sleep statistics only.

            @freeheeler yes it’s sleep status but it has the average HR so I am a little confused now.

              it is for sleep only. you can compare it to the statistics in the sleep section in your watch and it should match.
              I’m not sure if daily avg would make sense. during sleep we normally sleep only, during the day we are lazy, we are active, we chase the bus and do some sports… avg daily HR would differ from day to day more than from night to night

                @freeheeler that makes sense 👍

                So the AV sleep resting HR can be used under the profile tab in the watch where Max and resting HR can be set? Thanks

                  not really, I think I remember that the general forums opinion is that resting HR is +10 of lowest HR and max HR you need to test yourself… the “easiest” way is to go running and if possible uphill until you can’t go faster and HR does not rise anymore.
