Brand new Suunto 9 can't update

I just got my new watch delivered. The battery is charged and when I try to update it through Suuntolink it keeps failing. When the update is about done the watch wants me to set up my profile with my language, height and weight etc. But about 60 seconds into the setup it freezes, goes back to the update screen and in Suuntolink it says that the update failed and the watch needs to be reset. This happens no matter if I try setting up the profile right away, or just leave it.
I have no idea what I’m doing wrong, or if the watch is broken. -

did you already try hard reset and update again? if it persists, get in touch with support and see what they say -
