Structured intervalls
-
@thanasis it’s only in the iOS beta. Hope we can get on Android beta very soon
-
@suzzlo just arrived for Android in Australia!
Digging the new sport icons
-
Interesting!!! Will there be an option to upload the training calendar from TrainingPeaks?
-
I cannot find “swimming” as a sport on the new “structured interval” screens on iOS, although there is at least one example Suunto Guide for swimming.
I’m don’t know if it has any consequences on the watch given that I can enable Suunto Guides made for any sport.
-
@tuxella if the sport does not match, the watch will not ask you to do that scheduled guide automatically, but you can always manually select the guide on the watch.
-
@Stas-Varazhbit the TP training calendar, if you connected TP and SA, is already uploaded automatically and every day the correct workout is present on your watch. This is just the SA implementation of a guide builder, if you do not use third party services.

I’m sad …
I can create training that I cannot sync with my watch -

This is a great feature I love it. Thanks Suunto!
-
If I want to create a structured workout for more than one day, can I either
-
create a copy of an existing workout, or
-
select more than one day on the calendar?
It’d be nice also to see my planned workouts when I click on the calendar in SA. And last wish: I’d love to create my workouts on the Suunto app for Mac
-
-
@Francesco-Pagano or just have an option ‘repeat once a week’ or ‘once a month’ or ‘once in X days’.
-
Really like this new feature. Just wish that meters of ascent was also a valid goal parameter for an interval. In training peaks you are able to do this and it was a nice countdown in the guides page to see how you progressed to just a climbing goal.
-
@northeast_trekker ascent as a target for workouts has been requested.

I have requested this, we will see what happens.

@DMytro no the dots are still there in the main page
-
A simple question: is there a way to delete a structured workout? I am just starting to play with this function. Thx
-
@MdzOtt I got the answer in a different thread. (Hold and swipe right to show the delete button)

Various test done (IOs) with this awesome update.
Creating workouts is so easy !!juste one question : before this update, I was using the “old way” (intervalls settings in the watch) to train with intervals. When synchronising with the SA, the exercice description was automatically incremented with informations (4x5’@…)
With the new update, the exercice description remain empty after synchronisation. Is this normal ?
Also, would be very nice to have an interval counter information in the suunto guide screen on the watch.

Yes this is normal with Suunto Plus Guides.

Completely agree on this request. Using intervals.icu to create the Structured Intervals you get the counter, but is much more comfortable using SA.
-
Any idea if we’ll get option to define target hr zones or power zones in the structured workout builder?
And I agree, a counter on the interval number would be awesome, free TP doesn’t has it, ICU does
Thx
