      Hi there!

I’ve been using a Suunto 9 Baro for a couple of years now and just the other day I was browsing through the Apple Health app and realised that I have no records synced for VO2 max. I verified thet the permissions are granted for the Suunto app to write VO2 max to Apple Health, and I can see my VO2 max estimate in the Suunto app. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug or something is wrong with my setup?

      Thanks!

@Victor-Garcia Garmin watches AFAIK do not sync VO2Max to Apple Health either as least not in my experience. I do not know how difficult it is to sync that value. The only VO2Max values that sync to Apple Health for me is the AW.

indeed that’s my understanding. however the AW gives a completely different Vo2Max Value to Suunto (and Garmin)

Mine are quite close with AW the highest followed by Garmin and Suunto, which are nearly identical.

Can I ask you where you set/check that ? VO2max doesn’t appear in the list of toggle buttons on my phone…

@martin in Apple Health > Vo2Max > data source and access and check that it appear suunto app in data source.

I don’t understand either why doesn’t sync to Apple Health if it’s activated.

@aalfaro5 You see Suunto app appear here because it has been allowed to write some data to Health, but if you go to
                  Settings > Health > Data > Access > Suunto
you will see that there is no toggle switch for allowing writing of Vo2max data, nor are there any switch for writing sleep data, which is why those metrics aren’t transfered.
I know the list of toggle switches available with a garmin watch is more complete, but have never heard here of any good reason why sleep data (I started a thread on that subject a while ago - or VO2max) could not be transfered from the sunnto app.

You can add it manually with a little shortcut asking for the input to health in iOS.

iOS doesn’t recognize HRV from Oura or others… I add it manually.
