concerning the watchfaces, I agree, I own a Race and its wonderful screen could be used in a better way by paying more attention to the UI design and usability. In my opinion, about half of the available watchfaces are ugly, while many of the others look not that nice when only partially on (rise to wake) … at the end I always use the same one, which not really satisfy me.

I really like Suunto’s watch face in general. One of the watch face is oriented for fitness but heart rate data is missing on this.
I wanted to share my experience for improvement or idea
to Suunto even if they have plenty of ideas.

I’d be happy to help program watch faces. What’s the language? C, Forth, Assembly, or?
I’d like a 24 hour “analog” display with Sun (hour), Moon (and its phase), Mercury, …, Jupiter along the Ecliptic dial.

I love default Suunto Vertical SOLAR watchface, still hope we will have Steel version watchface in Solar, as a new, or just by clicking solar to change it into altitude. Such an easy thing to do. Steel > Solar watchface

what the heck, I would really like to know who downvoted for this! My father died of a heart problem and was admitted to a cardiac cath lab and all the staff were dedicated to him and followed him until his last minutes. Chapeau to all the guys who do such hard and stressful work!

sometimes (mainly on smartphone) it is easily possible to click on downvote instead of vote and if one doesn’t care to check if the count is going up, then you could got this.

what is Christmas Day at Suunto ? -
@Josaiplu Suunto will soon be launching a new watch (Race S). There are some “insiders” here in the forum who know when the release will be. But they are not allowed to tell due to NDA.
So Christmas Day refers to the release date of this new watch.
I myself am more looking forward to the software update for the existing models, which can also be expected with the release of this new model (maybe a bit delayed).

@Stoke80 thanks I m looking to get the race S for my wife as I m an happy owner of the race
When i read everyone know what is xmas date I wrongly understand that suunto is used to release on a specifc day of the week
You know that when you are waiting you try to interpret all the signs thanks for the clarification I m also waiting for the FW update it seems that changes are coming in the navigation and I’ve listen an interview of a suunto representative that say "maps are not routable for now

It is ready, when it’s ready.
But we know it is going to be awesome.
…and we know that some will still complain, that their personal feature wish is not included and triathlon customisation still is not possible…

About the watchfaces of the SV Ti, in this case for me the stock and default one it’s just perfect. Simple and minimalist. I don’t need any more.
