i actually misunderstood the issue. it’s nothing to do with strava. runna connects directly with suunto, it just ALSO connects with strava (where it has the same issue). if you disconnect/dont have strava the issue is still present in runna.
i ended up returning the watch and suunto support automatically closed the ticket (all support tickets auto close if you don’t reply to their updates, and support have to reply to your reply to hit the targets, so you end up in this endless loop and i give up )
very weird for suunto to not care about this issue with a top 10 health and fitness app, and number one training app, but not my problem anymore …
