I’ve got exactly the same problem you had. I accepted the critical update, the app worked as normal for about 2 days and then would no longer open. It still won’t open 3-4 days later so I’m also going to have to delete and reinstall it.
Do you lose any data - routes, custom sport modes etc - if you delete the app? I assume it’s all saved on a server and will redownload to the phone app?
Edit: my phone is telling me I have over 2GB of data in the app, no idea what this is, I thought only the most recent activities (plus routes) were stored on the phone.
