Man, the thread has about 500 post but to sum it up:

Lots of people complaining about battery drain Endless advices for 100 - 0 recalibrating that does not help in many cases (I also tried) Final admission that it is SW problem and unofficial assurance that it will be fixed in next release

This all took several months. What is contradictory to what I said before?

I do agree. Very slow creating routes, much slower than before. I have tried to create a 300 kms route using roads and it simply created a direct patch (even though creating it every 25 kms or so the road route is properly generated). This issue with presentation of wrong data has been part or this beta since the start. And from what I can see hasn’t been resolved yet.
I have been working with data visualization development for 8 years (https://spotfire.tibco.com/). One thing in applications involving getting insight from data is to never ever show wrong data, the user needs to trust the data. It is something you avoid at all cost, what is your thoughts about this? Is the problem so deeply buried in legacy code that it requires refactoring or why has it been left unsolved? I get my correct data from STRAVA or MC so I do get my data, but from a beta perspective it feels rather strange not to fix this…

Yes setting it to free drawing is a workaround. The main problem is that it isnt really following the expected trail on the map.

This is still an issue on my new iPad, setting the app up to be a universal app should allow support with minimal work

Unfortunately we cannot do anything on iOS app side in regards to notifications.

@tazio390 There may be some extra information coming that is crashing the app, we are studying the root cause and should be able to fix it in where the data is coming from.

I have another user with a similar issue. Internal tester. Let’s see tomorrows update (hope it comes)

Rather funny … the fastest route is the one I needed longer and have been slower (synchronized in the same session from watch to SA on Android (wireless)) … so it does not seem to be speed nor distance-based … must be something else 😋

as it is in German… the one at the bottom is - according to SA - the faster (and fastest) one …

@Jose-Luis please read the FAQ in the app about Strava. I think its stated there
