This would be a watch feature, not an app feature !?

Hi there, I’m also on Catalina (the beta version 10.15.3) and I’m using DM5 linked to an Eon Steel without any problems… I did see this on the support page though; “Note for Mac users: Please use Mono Framework version 5.18, until further notice” https://www.suunto.com/en-gb/Support/software-support/dm5/ that might do it, otherwise sorry I can’t be of any more help. I’m not fussed about units, also being British, Its about time the UK gave up on imperial It would be great if the location could be set like on the movescount app and even better if it took the location from the current phone GPS position. I’m not sure if the app will sync if you have no mobile data available which is often the case when you’re on a liveaboard trip away from any mobile phone masts. Would be great to sync your dive with the phone on the boat and set a GPS location, then the phone can sync to the cloud when a data connection is available again. Bearing in mind though, you may have 20-odd dives on a liveaboard trip before you get back to land. Would also be nice to add a dive number to match your real logbook dive number so you can easily cross reference. Sadly, I’ve lost faith in Suunto delivering a decent mobile app, particularly for their dive products, so I won’t hold my breath!

I don’t know the scale, maybe it’s distance based, but for sure you cannot zoom in

Sounds interesting. If I understand this correctly, live data from the watch will be displayed on the glasses. From what I have seen on their site they support Garmin too. There a ciq app has to be installed on the watch. I am wondering if the Suunto implementation will be done with a Suunto Plus app which is then responsible to communicate with the glasses.

@martintrail I have played with the tought of a vertical 2. I personally dont think it will come this year (considering it has only been in the market place since June 2023). I think its a tough sell to a consumer to upgrade a premium device after just a year, but a 2 year product refresh/cycle is reasonable I think. I doubt there will be a budget friendly version, because the Race S already ticks all the boxes. And if you have particular battery concerns / requirements then there are already fantastic solutions and options sitting above the Race S. Seeing that the Race S has a new optical heart rate sensor, I would assume that by the end of next year we see a revised RACE and VERTICAL lineup which includes this update too. Just my two cents
