Mille mercis mff73! Je ne connaissais pas cette solution (sportstracker). Je l’adopte de suite pour l’affichage de l’activité sur mon site web…et impec pour le gpx! Problème résolu!

@brad_olwin Thanks to you and @isazi, using SuuntoLink worked perfectly. In fact, it was already on my PC, so once it had updated itself the latest moves were transferred and appear on my app. And yes, the USB lead is the same as the one recommended for Ambit. A bit pricey at £25 to be honest, but currently half price. https://www.suunto.com/en-gb/Products/Other-accessories/USB-Power-Cable/ Much appreciated.

@LE_COQ @Spartiate We don’t know if Suunto will finally do a Web App for SA or not (I expect that will do, and I’m asking for that since Nov2017), but actually you could: Routes: use any of the 3rdparty services for create routes, and then import in SA mobile and sync with your watch Analyze data: export data to Strava/Endomondo/Training Peaks to analyze your data. Other providers has announced their integration with SA (as Runalyze has done) Sure SA will grow in features, done by Suunto or 3rdparty developers. BR

.FIT and .GPX are lowest common denominator formats which only offer a subset of MovesCount features. For one, .FIT doesn’t define roller skating activity, so I would have to manually tweak all my moves from the last 8 years of daily workouts.

Shearwater makes great products but is overkill if you’re only doing rec diving. If you have no plans for tec, the Suunto is fine. Me personally, I don’t like air integrated computers with transmitters. Just another point of failure and you’ll need a brass and glass SPG as well anyway so it’s just one more piece to buy in a hobby that has a million pieces. But, that’s just my opinion. You’ll get both sides of the air integrated argument and it only really matters what YOU like and are comfortable with. I have a Uwatec Aladin Tec 2g that I’ve been using for years. Picked it up for $250 and it’s small, basic, easy to use and does what I need.

@FinnsAway Please, you could shoot your opinion wherever you want but, please again, don’t lie, don’t confuse people. You must perfectly know that Sports-Tracker is a thousand miles from MC. And it doesn’t matter what you do or prefer to do in the website about your workouts. This point is a non discussed matter at all.

@Дмитрий-Резвов it worked for me partly, too… but all hikes are now just “trainings” and not hikes anymore…

@pescacebesforum said in How consumers use to react to changes: 3.- Surprise: after the first contact with this technology, the user is surprised by its operation. The result obtained in your test is not expected. Ha-ha! I am at step #3, and my surprise was mostly about how backwards it is. I think the outrage comes mostly from the fact that many features are removed by the transition to the new technology. It is dumbed down and targets different kind of users. SA is slowly improving and some of the new features proposed in a recent survey are pretty good but the improvements are long overdue. Suunto shouldn’t had forced everyone on the new platform until it was more mature and at least had a feature parity with Movescount.

Ok. I saw the link and read “Moves synchronized after enabling the transfer will not be synchronized to Suunto app.” So if I unplug everything and every time I give the transfer authorization, it also transfers the most recent moves (transfers them all) … but therefore creates duplicates on the old moves?

@luboskovar You can select dates in RunGap for syncing so if you set RunGap after the date you sync all activities to SA from MC you will be fine.

The closure of a web service also hurts me, but Suunto doesn’t have to explain anything. The reasons I can, we can imagine. Luckily there are free, top-notch web services that bypass MC, you just have to choose. My advise: try https://quantified-self.io/
