@sartoric said in Spartan Ultra optimising gps performance issue: @be1t0n Please replay to this : https://forum.suunto.com/topic/2923/suuntolink-agps-sync-in-loop adding your system info whoops … nope , you said MC App @sartoric I think the problem with the AGPS is in Suunto side and “global”, does not depend on the app used to sync.

After raising this here, I’ve been scrutinizing the HR data when running. In short, I don’t believe it. It was totally believable prior to the last firmware update, but now it takes longer to lock, and won’t actually lock unless the arm is dangling i.e. if the forearm is point upwards it refuses to lock the HR. As far as I’m concerned it’s as though the OHRM is not as sensitive/responsive, and struggles to register meaningful data when the forearm isn’t pointing downwards. I get data, but it’s not correct. If I look at my HR data prior to the fw update it’s solid and looks logical, but there’s no logic, or sometimes a lack of consistency to it now on many of my running activities. Boooo said the crowd, basically! Booo!

@yannis-belouris I’ve seen many times while sitting in the office, normal behaviour, once watch detects movement watchface is engaged.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Another example a day before: Autolaps: 90+147+160+156+154+155+155+156 = 1173 / 8 = 146 Exactly the same number as average HR on the watch!

@marianciu said in Not switch to next lap: Problem not exist - I had enabled auto lap and it causes the problem. I know, there is a big issue for understandability of the fields here, as you could see: [image: 1548332403844-f4b877d1-032b-47e3-b252-d3fdb377183f-image.png] “Average pace” is clear and short “Pace” is clear and short too But here start the problems: “Lap avg. pace” doesn’t explain exactly it means just manual laps if you have deactivated prior auto laps, which seems understandable. “Interval avg. pace” has no sense, as there are other 2 interval screens specifically for intervals… And I’m not totally sure that you could control intervals if previously didn’t define a proper interval screen (not customizable). I think this is an improvement area for Suunto.

@isazi thanks, it worked. I didn’t have idea I needed to add an Interval screen. Just assumed adding interval fields into one of the custom displays would be enough.

@isazi even stranger - Since gettign the watch a few days ago, i was thinking ot myself that the screen was a bit low resolution and blurry, worse than my old fenix 3 (it was hard to make out the definition in the small numerals around the edge of the bezel on the sunrise/sunset watchface)… turns out that after the reboot, its crystal clear and much easier to read… such a happy coincidence.
