I’ve never tried this but there’s a small chance if you set a target distance it might also populate the ‘remaining distance to end of route’ field.

I’m still not sure it makes total sense, but anyway both Shimano Di2 and Shimano E-Bike systems (STEPS) were updated to support all bike/e-bike activities

I had a problem with repeatedly connecting and disconnecting my Garmin chest strap, but all I had to do was turn off encryption on it.

Just to throw a thought in here, as a (newly minted) Run user: the barometer field needs some help. In Imperial units (which I as American have a love hate relationship with) it shows to the ones place for inHg—literally useless information because it would be the equivalent of showing only to the hundreds place hPa! And whats worse, the barometer trendline (far more useful, and a staple of suunto watches across decades of product lines) isn’t an option at all, despite showing up in the preview (alongside value, in the same field) for “Concentric Analog”. Not sure if that could be fixed faster since it applies uniformly to all existing watchfaces, but man alive is it annoying… As for needing new designs, I agree with many on this thread that have pointed out a lot of the designs work quite well, and a lot of it comes down to taste. However, as the OP pointed out, there’s some very minor tweaks that could help tremendously, including functional changes like my above noted barometer problem…

After a few weeks of testing, the issue started to occur again. The OHR sensor turns off without warning and does not turn back on until the watch is removed from the wrist or a forced restart is performed. [image: 1766748113856-img_5821.jpeg]

@Bigb0zz it’s not an issue to fix, but a design decision. The time would only fit if the font size of the data fields was made smaller. You may rearrange your data fields to avoid fields in the top row, which interfere with the time display.

@VoiGAS I assume that the issue is something like that. However, under the assumption that GPS is accurate, especially multi band which I used and is supposed to be very accurate, I would think that step count could probably be corrected by a better algorithm (assuming occasional measurements would miss a step, measure double air time or some other artifact).

Tested today, thanks for the advice to both of you, it works well on routes without crossings. Great.

@duffman19 said in Suddenly while bike riding Connection HR Belt broken: @2b2bff I think that’s just what it does when it loses an HR signal. It takes the last read HR and continues writing it until it recovers rather than writing zeros. At least that’s been my experience when losing connection to an external HR. The watch will still show “–” though. Yes, you are right. Same things happen when connection to power pedals are lost during activity: the last measured value is held throughout the rest of the activity. It is such a bad joke as the last value is probably the worst you can record. If this situation occurs, no value would be better than that value because every other reading’s average now gets destroyed. The only “correct” way is to record that you don’t have the information and as such, no other calculated reading should be affected in the stats.

@PetrMisek But if you look, the graph perfectly shows the problem. One could think, not knowing, that you slept from midnight until 5 PM the next day. It is not helpful at all. Also, why does the axis show 120 percent? Is this another bug by Suunto? And then again, right after the activity, there is a rapid rise in the resources.

@Stavrogin Re “Not sure what I am saying yes to”. You weren’t saying “Yes” there in my reply. I was, in acknowledgment that you were showing the app I had suggested initially but not understanding (“?”) why you were directing the post at me. I didn’t suggest the sport profile. Perhaps @leehikes was your intended recipient?

It happened to me during a run I did a really slow jog with a partner from my office that runs much slower than I normally do. In the end of the run the pace went down and I believe my HR went down to the 90s. It was cool outside (8-9C) and I didn’t sweat much. Really very relaxed run. On asphalt, including during stops at traffic lights, my HR recording jumped to about double my actual HR which is about 20bpm above my max of 165bpm…[image: 1765170003392-1000122270.png]

@2b2bff I’d be surprised to see a tilted rectangular display But I agree on the QC part.
