Update not available in watch

My Suunto app says that update is downloaded to watch and ready to be installed. However, watch says 2.16 and that it is up to date. So the app says thinks the firmware has been transferred to watch but watch havent downloaded firmware or detects it. I use Android app. Frustrating…
And I have reset the watch and also tried to let it update over night as per the advice from the support, doesnt work either,

if you open the previous URL on your phone, the same where you have SA installed, the download should start

@andreas-göransson open it in the browser, it should ask you to open it in Suunto App then.

@isazi Sorry but it only ends up with google search result if I paste it into the adress bar of the browser…

@andreas-göransson which browser and OS are you using? It works with android/firefox for me. On iOS you should use safari.

@andreas-göransson I do not have chrome installed to test, will need someone else to chime in. The point is you should not search for that string on google, but tell your browser to open that URL.

@isazi Yes, thanks. Seems like Google Chrome on my phone at least doesnt detect the prefix of the URL as an app-related thing…

@andreas-göransson seems a possible solution is to have a link. Try this link in chrome.
Not sure if it works or not in the forum though.
You can create a link yourself otherwise.

@isazi Ok,got it to open in the app now. The app says the software pacakge is downloaded and ready to be installed. But still not possible to start the install on the watch…
