I remember i saw somewhere a post seeing glass not aligned with bazel on s9p. But somehow i can not find that post anymore.
I just got s9p also and screen is at 6oclock position a little more upwards than 12oclock position.

it is noticable but from distance and on the picture relatively small. I can imagine it appears bigger in real life.
the question is: is it the glass sitting crooked on the body or is it the bezel?

Not sure if i understand what are you trying to ask.

And yeah not so bad as other posted in another thread. I checked another watch and the situation is better where glass is even more “submerged”. In any case it does not looks as nice also.

sometimes it’s not easy to see what actually is crooked. maybe the glass looks crooked but could be that it is actually the bezel.
it depends where the aligning points are and if everything is assembled well and precisely.

@freeheeler i would say both frame and glass are flat. The glass is not installed correctly. At one point it is placed lover than on other end.

@krakra so after extensively examining my S9P Peak (granite blue, which has perfectly installed glass) with the black titanium, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not the actual glass thats installed deeper on one side.

From what I can see it is the black seal thats installed between the bezel and the glass itself. That is what is lower, at least on my model.

The glass itself is the same height in relation to the bezel, but the black buffer piece between the glass and the bezel is slightly lower on the ambient light sensor side, which ultimately makes it appear as though the glass is skewed but it isn’t.

I confirmed this by using a set of very fine calipers to see if the glass was level with the bezel all around the watch and to my surprise it was, despite not appearing to be so.

So I think this is far less concerning than if the glass itself was skewed.

Edit: just a general note, I find it considerably harder to see this on the all black version, it’s not something I can even pick out unless I have the watch off my wrist and against a bright light.

@chris-conway on my copy glass at 12 oclock position is lower than bezel and at light sensor a little above bazel. Also true on my copy that black buffer around the glass is lower at one side.
